Questions, answered plainly.

The short version of everything people ask us. If your question isn’t here, get in touch and a person will answer it.

Playing

How do I play the weekly lotto?

Through a membership bundle — Bronze, Silver or Gold. Your bundle puts your tickets into every Friday lotto draw and every special draw automatically, and you can change or cancel it online whenever you like.

Can I buy a one-off ticket without joining?

Yes — for the special draws. Each one on the draws page sells individual tickets with a single payment and nothing recurring. The weekly Friday lotto itself is entered through membership.

Where do I find my ticket numbers?

They’re in your confirmation email, sent right after you pay — itemised, with every number. Members will also see all their tickets for every upcoming draw in their account.

What do tickets cost?

Every ticket costs the same £2, except the Christmas Savings Draw, where tickets are £1. There are no discounts on tickets, however many you hold — the price is the price.

What are my chances of winning?

Every ticket has exactly the same chance — buying at a certain time, or any other trick, changes nothing.

For special draws, each draw page shows the maximum number of tickets that can be sold, so you can see the longest the odds could possibly be. For the weekly lotto, the odds depend on how many entries are in that week’s draw. Exact odds information is being finalised and will be published before launch.

What happens if a draw doesn’t sell out?

Every draw closes at its published date and time, whatever has sold — no extensions. How an undersold draw affects prizes is part of the final rules, which are pending sign-off and will be published in full before launch.

Winning

How will I know if I’ve won?

We contact every winner directly — by phone or email, starting the same evening as the draw, and everyone is reached within two working days. There is nothing to claim and no deadline. If you have won, we will find you.

Where are the results published?

On the check your numbers page and in the winners archive, the same evening as every draw — and they stay there for good. How each draw is run and checked is explained in how the draw works.

How do I check my numbers?

Open the check your numbers page after any draw and type in a ticket number from your confirmation email — it tells you straight away. Remember, though: winners are always contacted directly, so checking is just for fun.

Do I need to do anything to claim a prize?

No. Winners never need to check a page, fill in a form or beat a deadline — we come to you.

Money & membership

Where does the money go?

More than half of every ticket funds free hospice care in Coventry, Warwick and Rugby — see the split, and read more about The Myton Hospices.

When is payment taken?

One-off tickets are a single payment at checkout — nothing recurring, nothing to cancel. Memberships are paid by Direct Debit or card; the exact collection schedule is being finalised and will be published before launch.

How do I change, pause or cancel my membership?

Online, in a couple of clicks — no phone call needed. You can move between bundles, cancel entirely, or pause: pausing keeps your place and your bundle, and no payments are taken while you’re away. See responsible play for the calm exits.

Can I set a limit on what I spend?

Yes — set your own limit. Lowering it takes effect immediately; raising it takes 24 hours to apply, on purpose.

Can I buy tickets as a gift?

The gifting rules are being finalised and will be published before launch. Whatever the final shape, every entrant must be 18 or over and in Great Britain.
